The IALHA, International Andalusian & Lusitano Horse Assn is based in Birmingham AL. This is a Registry for purebred and half Andalusians, Lusitanos and PSP (Spanish-Portuguese). The IALHA is affiliated with the USEF.   Website:


The Association of the Foundation Andalusian Horse

Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse (Historical) (USA) was established in 1998 to promote and support the P.R.E. horse in the USA. The Foundation established the PRE MUNDIAL registry in 2008 for Pure Spanish Horses, which is a proponent of the Cria Caballar guidelines and uses the protocol of inscription and revision. The FPSH held acredited shows, education programs, seminars, revision, had a lending library, stallion auctions, PRE rescue, youth scholarships, etc. The organization shut down in 2022.    Website:

All Half Andalusians or Lusitanos with one registered purebred parent are eligible for registry papers with:

The Association of the Foundation Andalusian Horse  (US)  as a Half Andalusian  Spanish Heritage Horse Registry.

Our club continues to grow and now includes members from Canada to Florida to Utah.

Pacific Association of the Andalusian & Lusitano Horse - Breed Club

The PAALH is a volunteer-run incorporated non-profit society created to bring together the people who share in the love of the Andalusian & Lusitano horse.  PAALH’s mandate is to educate its members and the public on the history of the Andalusian & Lusitano, on the unique characteristics of the breed, and on the equestrian cultures of the mother countries of this magnificent horse - Spain and Portugal.  PAALH also vows to protect and advance the interest of these amazing horses and to host competitions to promote them.  250-694-3521
